Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how ICT Solved! (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles your information when you use the GoalPulse FIFA World Cup 2026 app (“App”).

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account & Profile Data

When you sign in with Google Sign-In, we receive from Google and store on our servers:

  • Your display name and profile photo URL (used to show your profile in-app)
  • A unique Firebase user ID (used to associate your data with your account)

We do not store your email address.

1.2 Data You Create (Stored on Our Servers)

The following data you create in the App is stored on our servers and linked to your account:

  • Match predictions — your predicted scores for each match
  • Prediction points — points calculated after each match based on accuracy
  • Leaderboard rankings — your rank snapshots after each match
  • Quiz answers — your responses to halftime quiz questions
  • Match watchlist — matches you have bookmarked for notifications

1.3 Locally Stored Data

App settings and preferences (such as notification preferences) are stored locally on your device using on-device storage and are never sent to our servers.

1.4 Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics (Google LLC) to collect anonymous usage data such as:

  • Which features are used (e.g., screens viewed, predictions submitted)
  • Session counts and retention metrics
  • Device type and OS version (no personal identifiers)

This data is aggregated and anonymous. Analytics is disabled in debug builds.

1.5 Crash Reporting

We use Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC) to collect crash reports that help us fix bugs. Crash reports contain:

  • Stack traces and error details
  • Device model and OS version
  • App version

No personally identifiable information is included. Crashlytics is disabled in debug builds.

1.6 Push Notifications

If you enable match notifications, we use Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google LLC) to deliver push alerts (kick-off, goals, final whistle). A push token is generated on your device and stored in Firebase solely for delivering notifications. This token is not linked to your identity and can be reset by disabling and re-enabling notifications.

1.7 Remote Configuration

We use Firebase Remote Config (Google LLC) to adjust App settings (such as ad refresh rates) without a full app update. No personal data is collected via Remote Config.

1.8 Advertising

The App displays ads served by Google AdMob (Google LLC). AdMob may collect your advertising ID and device information to serve ads.

  • Personalized ads are shown only where you have given consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland) or where no consent is required (most regions).
  • Non-personalized ads are shown if you decline consent or opt out — you still see ads, but they are not based on your interests.
  • EEA / UK / Swiss users: On first launch, a consent form is shown via Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP). You can change your choice at any time via About → Privacy Options in the App.
  • US state users (California, Virginia, Colorado, etc.): You may opt out of the sharing of your personal information for advertising purposes via About → Privacy Options in the App.
  • All other users may opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings under Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization.

The App also retrieves publicly available football data from football-data.org and ESPN’s public sports API. No personal data is sent to these services.

4. International Data Transfers

Our third-party services (Firebase, Google AdMob) are operated by Google LLC, based in the United States. If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, your data may be transferred to and processed in the US. Google LLC participates in and certifies compliance with applicable data transfer frameworks (including EU Standard Contractual Clauses). See policies.google.com/privacy for details.

5. Data Retention

  • Account and server data (predictions, points, leaderboard, quiz answers, watchlist) is retained on our servers for as long as your account exists. Deleting your account removes all of this data permanently.
  • Local settings remain on your device until you uninstall the App or clear its data in your device settings.
  • Push token is retained in Firebase Cloud Messaging for as long as notifications are enabled.
  • Analytics and crash data is retained by Google per their standard retention policies.

  • Delete your account and all associated data — via Fan Zone → My Zone → Delete account in the App, or see our Account Deletion page

  • Erase your personal data (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Restrict or object to processing of your personal data
  • Withdraw consent for personalized advertising at any time via About → Privacy Options
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority

The legal basis for processing your data is: consent (personalized advertising), contract performance (account features, predictions, leaderboard), and legitimate interests (crash reporting, app improvement via analytics).

6.2 US State Residents (CCPA / CPRA and similar)

If you are a resident of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, or another US state with applicable privacy laws, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect and how it is used
  • Delete your personal information (via account deletion in the App)
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising — via About → Privacy Options in the App
  • Non-discrimination — we will not treat you differently for exercising your privacy rights

We do not sell your personal information for money. “Sharing” in the CCPA sense refers to sharing your advertising ID with AdMob for targeted advertising, which you can opt out of as described above.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
